Re: 3rd party router with Bt hub for digital voice

Hi, I've a similiar setup as this, but on ff 900 I'm only achieving download speeds between 200-400

Uploads seem to be constant at 110

What.speeds are you achieving?

@Checks

You do realise this is a three-month-old thread?  Plus, you’ve posted as a quote from earlier…which doesn’t seem to relate to this thread?

I would suggest the problem is probably the router you’re using.  As I mentioned in an earlier post, most older kit has a firewall throughput of only 300-400 Mb/s, (even if the ports are "gigabit").  Fine in the day when the day was 80/20 on FTTC but not up to FTTP speeds.

Re: 3rd party router with Bt hub for digital voice

Hi WSH,

                I followed your settings to set up my netgear RS700 router and now it works in router mode connected to my EE/BT smart hub 2 Fibre. Needed to keep the BT hub connected so as to use my digital landline. Thanks for the advice
