Access of bt mobile voicemail from Australia

Hi Folks

              Currently in Australia and I am unable to access my bt mobile voicemail. I have read some of the suggestions and setting of a pin before leaving the UK and I must admit I was unaware this had to be carried out.

When I access the voicemail from Australia all I receive is an engaged tone, is this correct? no greeting or opportunity to enter a pin?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Google is your friend, all of this information is easily accessible on a search, or use the search function on this forum.

To be honest if you are going away, in the future, you might be better off just leaving a voice message telling folks to contact you on an email address, just use a throwaway email address you can access on your phone.
