Advanced Phone Z won't make outgoing calls

Go to solution

We have set up our new Advanced Phone Z base unit and two handsets per the set up guide. The base unit is plugged in to our Vodafone broadband router.

We can receive incoming calls, but there's no dial tone and we can't make outgoing calls. We've tried the microfilter but that doesn't work either.

We don't have a standard main phone socket - we have an Openreach box that does not have the standard line cord socket (or any free socket).

@gg30340 There are no Vodafone user forums anymore!

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!

As I have no interest in Vodafone I obviously did not know that.

That however does not take away from the fact that this forum can not assist a Vodafone customer in resolving a phone fault other than doing as @imjolly has suggested if that is relevant.
