Anyone else seeing 94440902 as an outgoing call on their Cloud Voice Bill?

According to my monthly bill, my number calls 94440902 fairly frequently. The calls are of various durations and sometimes more than once a day. The calls are NOT visible in the Cloud Voice portal and they are at zero charge.

I have been told it's a "glitch" and that no calls are actually  being made. BT billing advised that the number will no longer appear on my Bill as they have 'requested' the spurious number is taken off future invoices. 

A quick Google search confirms that I am not the only one.  Should I be worried? Is someone hijacking my digital line? This may be nothing but paranoia, but I'd be interested to see how widespread this 'glitch' is.

There are incoming calls, being diverted to your Voicemail. Like you say, they shouldn't appear on your bill!

That's really helpful, thank you! Now why couldn't BT tell me that?! 

I spoke to Customer Services, was then put through to Cloud Voice Services, and finally to Billing, not one of them knew that. There was no mention of voicemail, they even said they had tried calling the number to see what it is *facepalm* 🤣  there's two hours of my life I won't get back!

I will be interested to see if they get the 'glitch' fixed on my next Bill. (I won't hold my breath.)
