BT Decor 2600 corded and hearing aids
Above telephone states that is is hearing aid compatible. my system is on Digital Voice. I use Phonak hearing aids which have a T-Coil setting. When I receive a call on the 2600 I switch my aids to this position. But there is no difference whatsoever in the sound. As my hearing loss is profound, this is most frustrating. The phone is out of warranty. Any thughts?

Re: BT Decor 2600 corded and hearing aids
Did the phone work with your hearing aids before moving to Digital Voice? It shouldn't make any difference if you are on DV or still analogue.

Re: BT Decor 2600 corded and hearing aids
Because of my poor hearing I have always used the phone as 'handsfree' assuming that the coupler was within the phone itself. I have now been told the T-Coil is within the earpiece of the handset. So no matter how close I got to the phone it made no difference to the reception! So problem solved.

I must admit I rarely use the landline.
Far better reception using my mobile linked to my hearing aids via Bluetooth.
