BT Upgrading SH2 Software Anomaly?

Go to solution

FWIW.

I noticed my router wasn't emanating the usual blue hue, and no net access. Did a 3-pin reset, came back up, OK. I had a look in the router technical logs: '06.30am BT Software Upgrade'.
The anomaly. I, previously, set my Voicemail Delay, to 'Long 30secs'. I wondered why, I wasn't getting to the handset, before it tripped out to Voicemail, really irritating. When I checked the Voicemail Delay, it defaulted to 20secs. Dialled 1571, and put the delay back to 'Long 30secs', confirmed by logging into My BT, and checking Call Divert Delay.
So, was the change of Voicemail Delay, due to the Software Upgrade or my 3-pin reset? Anyone!

03. Access the partition with the Handset logo & AFN phone details in.
04. Select 'contacts'.
05. Select 'export' to file.
06. Admin Password login appears. (N.B The 'Admin Password' should hold for the 'conf' save.)

08. Return to the SH2 Home interface.
09. Select 'Advanced Settings', 'System', 'Back up / Restore'.
10. Select 'Back up', "Back up".
11. Follow the prompts, to where you keep your stuff. SAVE.
12. Best practice. Return to the SH2 Home interface. CLOSE BROWSER.
