BT voicemail

Go to solution

My sister has had digital voice for a couple of months. She used to pay for 1571 voicemail and when she was moved to digital voice I thought she would no longer have to pay as its included free with DV.

She tells me she is still being billed for 1571 and can't see anywhere on her online account where she can cancel it. Can anyone tell me what she should do please? Many thanks,

She needs to call BT Billing 0330.1234.150 and ask them to cancel it and refund what she has paid.

She was hoping to do it online not to ring as she dosn't want to be talked into a contract for something else! But if that's the only way I'll let her know . Thank you.

Hi there @sue-1

Thanks for posting on the community to get help for your sister.

She could also use the message us option on the get in touch page here, and the team will get this looked into for her 🙂

Leanne.

There are two different versions of voicemail. If she was paying for voicemail on pstn then you'll automatically be moved to paying version on Digital Voice. It is possible to downgrade to the free version. I think it can be done on the website but can also be done by calling CS

That's interesting - what does the paid version of 1571 voicemail give you that the free-with-DV version doesn't?
