Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
Glad to hear BT have got their act together. I wish the same could be said for EE. Still no access to any of the 'Manage my digital phone' plan via My EE. Sigh.

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
Hi Sue,
Just have a question - does BT force you to go to EE when you are moved to Digital Voice?
I can see that Digital Voice is coming and with the EE saga seems that BT have, again, not beta tested the EE integration with BT software.
Thanks

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
Hi Michael,
I was certainly given no choice about being moved to EE with Digital Voice.
In my case the Home Phone was part of a package with TV and Broadband but I think it was the Digital Voice part that necessitated the move to EE; the other two elements just went with it.
At least it solved the Call Protect problem because that works through the EE app (though still not via the website).

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
Hi Swatty,
Thanks for the update.
I only have broadband & phone line from BT.
I have DECT Panasonic digital phones already (several years).
So,from what I’ve read, should be able to plug in an adapter into the BT phone socket and continue without a new router.
Don’t want an EE router, and if they try to force that on me will move to another internet provider.
Seems complete shambles.
thanks,
Michael

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
You will need to either plug your phone into the back of the router (no matter if its BT or EE) or use a Digital Voice Adaptor, which will plug into an electrical socket and you plug your DECT phone into that. Either way, you will have to have a router of some sort.

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
Hi
Was a badly written message from me.....
Of course. I would still have a router, otherwise wouldn't be able to use broadband.
From what I've read by BT, to use Digital Voice effectively, I would need a Smart HUB 2 router (I have a smart HUB 1) so they would send me a new router free. Alternatively, I could go landline free (my choice) and are considering that.

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
At last! Having only had access to Call Protect via the mobile app, I just logged into My EE on my laptop and was able to access it via 'Manage Home Phone' as I used to years ago now, via My BT online. I hope I haven't now jinxed it!

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
That's great news Swatters ! As you say let's hope you haven't jinxed the whole call protect thing! Calls seemed to have all showed up recently and I've had no junk calls since start of November!

Re: Call Protect - last call number not showing
Same for me, all seems good for BT call protect.
Strange that a Mod hasn't said any changes have been made
