Re: Call to an 0191 number ?

Indeed......thankyou for the clarification.  I had no idea the 're-dial after 60 minutes'  no longer existed.  Overall I find the site virtually impossible to just dip in to find out about any given code or confirm something or other.  Perhaps it is now so massive and like the NHS, in some areas no person or department is designated as responsible for updating info.  That's why I came here after wasting maybe half an hour trying my best to find the answer to my question on the website.  I am however much obliged 🙂

Thanks a lot for this....I didn't know about the half price pence per minute to uk mobiles.  Was told that was entirely free from my home phone  when I took out the service I currently have.  I was never told about this change which is v disappointing.  I might need to call up and go through things with someone to make sure I dont wind up with a large unexpected bill sometime. 🤔

Not sure who your last post was aimed at , but no one has said that there is ‘half price pence per minute to uk mobiles’ , that has never been the case even on legacy call plans and the current call plans do not differentiate between mobile and ‘landline’ calls , it’s the same pence per minute on PAYG for calls to mobile and landline , but you don’t seem to be on PAYG anyway   , calls to mobiles and landlines  are included on Unlimited ,that’s why it’s more expensive initially than PAYG , but for someone who makes approximately 40 mins of calls per month ( mobile and landline combined ) PAYG is the poor choice and Unlimited the obvious choice.

You seem to have judging on your previous comments unlimited calls , that means calls to standard landline numbers (including 0191 ) and mobiles are included in your plan , you don’t pay anything extra above the fee for Unlimited , and there is no 60 minute limit …that’s exactly as you were told both by BT when you took the unlimited plan , and as stated on here several times .

Clearly premium rate calls are not included, but mobile and landline are not premium rated numbers .

True , I missed that , but as it’s in reference to a call plan that doesn’t exist anymore , and hasn’t for quite a few years it’s somewhat irrelevant .
