Caller ID stopped showing

We have an advanced digital home phone. Over the past week when we receive incoming calls, including numbers saved in our contacts, we get a message saying there in 'no caller information'. So we don't know who is calling.

We have rebooted the rooter, turned on and off the phone base and tried new batteries in the handset but without success. 

It may be coincidence, and I am hopeful that it is, but it follows shortly after renewing our contract in December. 

Any deas why we suddenly cannot see incoming caller information on the digital phone after a year or more with no issues?

Caller display is not enabled by default on BT Digital Voice, you have to activate it yourself, via MyBT, digital voice settings.

Renewing your contract may have reset it back to default.

Thanks for the reply. Appreciated - and it does make sense. However, when I go to managing BT digital voice settings, whether through the website or the App, I am offered the options of managing call protect, call waiting, voicemail essentials and call barring. I am not sure therefore where to go to re-activate caller display, if that is what is needed.

I have checked on my account as well and the option does not seem to be there.

I suggest calling BT and they will be able to add it back on

Thanks for the suggestion. Rang BT today. They deactivated caller ID and then reactivated it. Working again.
