My elderly parents have recently been upgraded to DV
They have the converter & have been using their old phones with no issues for the last weeks.
Now though they can't make calls due to an engaged tone.
Tried dialling 1571 as suggested elsewhere, but it doesn't dial
Rebooted the hub, the converter, the phone but no joy.
In the end, I've taken them my Advanced Digital Home Phone & set that up.
That works fine & can make and receive calls
The old phone still has an engaged tone.
Any ideas on how to fix it?
