Can't believe it, the old "I am from Openreach" scam resurfaces

It's back! It's been a long time but once again I received a scam call from one of our Indian friends (and I don't mean American Indians) telling me they were from Openreach etc etc. Will these idiots ever get a life?

For what it's worth the CLI number was displayed as 02476682498.

I reported it to both BT and Action-Fraud but decided to post it here also for maximum exposure

It will be a spoofed number

Don’t answer calls from numbers which are unfamiliar on caller display. Wait until they give a message.

If you look in your calls listing, there’s a very high probability that it will show as “international”.

The number, spoofed, is from Coventry.
