Digital Voice.

BT Digital voice via an adaptor paired to the hub.

Issue started last night - can’t dial landlines - geographic or non geographic. Strange thing is I can dial mobiles ok.
No changes other than an unexpected power down.

Ideas anyone ?

Thanks.

Re: Digital Voice.

BT/EE have been having issues with Digital Voice (DV) for a few days now.  See below:

and

...and it doesn't seem to be limited to just mobiles.  Someone tried to phone me on a DV "landline" a few days ago and emailed to say that it wouldn't connect.

Re: Digital Voice.

Thanks for the response.

It makes you wonder what checks were done before any network upgrade to verify the changes works.
Not so long ago we would have needed to prove the change in a test bed and, once implemented,  if there was any negative impact to users, the change would have been rolled back before next working day.

Re: Digital Voice.

Well, I've always been ops rather than dev but I think you've got Agile to thank for that.

Re: Digital Voice.

Hi @Johnr08.

Our services continue to work as normal following the technical fault impacting voice calls last week.

We are confident that we have resolved this issue and have now seen network stability across both weekend and weekday traffic peaks, and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
If you're still experiencing issues with your Digital Voice service now, it's most likely separate and we can troubleshoot further from there.

Peter
