if I am using Digital Voice either making or receiving a call, others in the house are unable to join in the call through the two Home Phone Adapters that I have. Some mistake surely?
This has been answered many times on the forum. There is no connectivity between a phone directly connected to the hub and phones connected to an adapter. You also need to make sure that multi call is not enabled in the advanced features.
So you are saying that there is no way round this? You'd have thought that BT in all its wisdom might have wanted to continue this useful function.
No, the different types of connection appear to use different channels back to the hub DECT base station.
Devices connected by the same means should be able to join as long as multi call is disabled as otherwise the joiner would just be expected to be making a simultaneous call rather than joining a call.
excuse my ignorance, but how do I disable multicall? zThank you for your assistance
Its somewhere in the settings of the DV handset, I can't remember the exact sequence of menus but you can poke around as well as I can.
