Hi All,
Hoping that someone might have some words of wisdom, although when I phone BT they always try to help but sadly it never fixes the problem.
I have the Digital Alexa phone and every now and again it plays up. For example, It will receive a phone call and when I pick it up it loses connection, does it's annoying 'da da da da da da' and then searched for the hub.
I have tried resetting the phone, base and hub.
I am now on my 3rd phone as each time that seems to be the answer from BT.
Each time a complaint is raised but it never comes to anything.
At the moment it's unplugged and on the side so I might as well cancel the phone part of the contract but before I do that does anyone have any ideas or an email address that I can complain before I cancel the contract?
Thank you for reading!
Have you tried replacing the batteries. A lot of problems have been reported with the batteries supplied with these DV phones. As a test, put in ordinary non rechargeable batteries to see whether it's better but obviously don't put it back into the charging base. If that works buy some new AA/AAA rechargeable batteries from the usual online sources perhaps.
Thank you for your reply, I will try that!
I appreciate you have tried different phones but did you try replacing the rechargeable batteries in your Alexa phone. the batteries are a common problem if you search forum - phone appears charged but as soon as you pick it up it does not connect
