There is nothing special about a fax line , it’s a standard PSTN ‘line’ that you had a fax machine connected to , so from a migration to DV point of view, it’s no different, provided it’s a residential service , if it is residential and you want to keep the line its migration to DV will be no different to a telephone line , however if you don’t have a broadband service associated with this fax line , or if it’s recorded as a business, it’s not likely to be migrated anytime soon because of the lack of broadband or the business tariff associated with it ( or both ) .
The removal of PSTN lines for businesses is likely to be different to its removal for residential lines , and non broadband residential lines are not currently being targeted to move to DV .
