Hi I'm jolly
Yes apart from the colour display issue so far everything else with the phone is working fine which I have decided to keep the phones. Obviously should any further issues develop then i would request for my money back from BT/EE
I am somewhat surprised because BT landline phones are normally well made and last for years so I don't know what's happened. I only got these phones on 1st October and I feel EE/BT knew full well the phones had faults yet carried on selling them which very underhanded in opinion.
Regards Christine
Hey there @Keepontop_11 😊
I have this exact handset myself, and as you've mentioned I have two colour scheme options - Pastel and High contrast.
I've had a check over the manual, and all it mentions here is the option to change the colour scheme; nothing explicitly says what these options are and how many are available.
We've also had a few threads on this in the past going back as far as 2023, and it seems that it's been consistent since then that these are the two main colours, but a third was available in the past. It seems is no longer featured, and it could vary by specific device / software version.

I have one of the original DV HD handsets with Alexa and just tried it and choice is normal(Purple) or pastel(yellow) or high contrast(black and white)
Cheers for looking at that too, @imjolly.
I'm lacking the Purple option, and that's the third one that was mentioned in the 2023 thread too.
I've had my phone since early 2023 but very rarely use it, and never thought to check colour options at the time.
It does appear this likely just a difference in software / model version, though.

The phone I have was 2019 part of initial trial/testing
Thanks @Keepontop_11, fingers crossed one of these two options will suit here.
Just for reference too, you don't have to use the dedicated digital voice phone with your Hub.
You can plug any normal landline phone in to the green telephone port on the back, so if there's a particular colour combo or type of display that works better for you, you're not just restricted to this handset.
You take care,
Peter
