I need a back up for digital voice phone when there’s a power cut.
are the BBU in stock now with bt.
my mobile signal EE is poor inside my house ,I have to go outside to get a signal,

just being a pensioner does not qualify for BBU and you also have a mobile signal. in emergency you can call 999 on mobile and use best mobile signal in your are which may not be EE
How often do you get a power cut? If you get lots, then complain to your electricity supplier.
Do you have FTTC or FTTP?
If you have FTTP, then how close is the home hub to the ONT?
Power cuts one or two times every month lately.only for a short period .last one messed up the settings of
my bt hub. Had to reset my bt digital phone . SSE doing some work on monday
cutting trees back, might solve the issue.
I am on fttp , ONT is about 45cm from my hub
As the two units are close together, then a mains UPS would probably be the best option, as you can plug up to four items which could include ONT, Home Hub, and possibly phone base unit.

About £90, so not much more that a single unit from BT which you would need two of.
