Do bt know there’s a fault

I reported a fault with my landline on the 11th and it was fixed on the 13th dec , it stopped working again on the 14th dec and I reported it faulty again , I received an email from bt at 11.30 am15th dec today stating the landline is working. It is not working I reported the fault again on the bt website, I don’t know what is happening now whether I have an ongoing problem or two more reported faults . 8 extra days to fix it was stated because it’s a underground fault but we have telephone wires on poles here ?.

I am wondering if anyone is actually going to fix my phone with all this confusion.

how would I find out

thank you

Re: Do bt know there’s a fault

It will be a fault in the underground cable feeding the pole.

Call customer services 0330 1234 150 for information

Re: Do bt know there’s a fault

Yes that’s my last resort , it costs a lot of time and money on a payg phone .

its my only option to hopefully speak to someone who may know , the wishy

washey answers from the fault chat room do not inspire confidence, hopefully they don’t answer the phones as well !
it does seem like bt don’t really care

Re: Do bt know there’s a fault

Thank you for that phone number for bt that is very helpful to me , the cynic in me would say bt do not make it obvious on their website to profit in my problems !

I will have to check my phone tariff to see if 0800 are free .
nothing is ever easy with communications companies 😀
