Extending ring time on DV

I’ve looked through the forum but unable to find an answer.

My 95 year old mother in law had DV installed this week, is there any way to extend the ring time before it goes to voicemail. She is very slow in getting to the phone to answer.

It can be done via MyBT.

Maximum is 10 rings

10 rings is too short, it is only 30 seconds. Even the ring tone no reply timer is now too short and that is only 60 seconds. It used to be 3 minutes once upon a time. The reason for the shorter time on 1571 was to increase the answer to offer rate and get more call revenue for BT. BT have never cared much for the problems faced by older people
