Faulty landline for vulnerable mum

My mum appears to gave a faulty landline. She telephoned on Friday 25th August and was told someone would phone her on Mobday afternoon about it. That means my mum has been left with a faulty line over the weekend. She is 80, lives alone and has many health issues including mobility. She is very scared to be sitting there with no working landline. Is there a number I can phone on a Saturday? Thank you.

Try calling 0330 1234 150

Unless she has been registered as a priority customer, she may have to wait until Monday.

Have you considered a simple mobile phone? Doro do a number of basic phones which can call a specified number by simply pressing a button on the back.
