I have just gone onto BT DigitalTh Voice. It was not explained to me that my telephone service would be interrupted. I have a complex IT system, which runs WiFi, AV, lighting and central heating via a Savant system. There is no BT router. The Gigaset base station is connected to a regular telephone line and to the Savant system via an ethernet cable. The phone (SL450HX)) is dead and doesn't recognise the base station. Before I start switching things on and off or unplugging things, any suggestions as to how I can re-establish comms?
Without a BT Smart Hub 2 as the first directly connected device to broadband, you will have no Digital Voice.
