Whilst no doubt true it does not help those that need those services and have received no infirmation and were not aware that the change over was happening.

Have you got proof of that? As far as I understand there are multiple communications going out advising people are being switched over, if they choose not to read them & ignore them that's hardly BT's fault

I only received 2 days notice, however this is from an update I received from Ofcom, unfortunately I have deleted the email and the ofcom site is difficult to navigate to find anything again.

"Ofcom raised concerns that many customers were unaware their phone lines were being replaced and that their devices would stop operating until a few days before their landlines were switched off."

For me, on this months PDF phone bill there is an info panel referring to Digital Voice.
