Landline Phone

When I went over to digital voice I got a couple of the BT DV handsets which have, for the most part, worked reasonably well. I also have a BT6600 dect set plugged into the back of my router. That set must be about 10 years old, if not more.

It is noticeable that the BT DV handsets give a much clearer sound quality than the old phones. Is that likely to be because of a difference in technology or is it likely to be because the BT6600 phones are so old? In other words, am I likely to get a noticeably clearer sound quality if I replace the old phones with something more modern?

Re: Landline Phone

If memory serves, the BT DV handsets are supposed to be HD sound quality.  Not had a chance to test them myself.
