Master socket removal after DV activation

Had my Fibre 900 installed yesterday and I requested the copper drop wire was removed at the same time. The triangular eyelet bracket was screwed to the end of fascia and over the years has been pulling at the fascia so was keen to get it removed and the new fibre line was installed using a different bracket to the brickwork.

All good.

But now I have a wire from the fascia down the wall to the outside of the hallway and then in the hallway I have some more internal wire into the master socket.

Assuming BT/OR would never install a new copper line and my master socket is now dead forever, can I remove the wire and master socket?

My understanding is that from the pole to the master socket is BT/OR property but given the above are they really going to care if I ‘tidy up’ after them?
