My caller ID started given wrong info,like saying my mum's number was " International", and now it's stopped working completely!
Tried *#234#, " this service is Not available?".
I think it's a line fault?

Are you a BT Retail customer?
If you dial 17070, does the announcement read back your correct phone number, as you may have a crossed line.
The message now only reads" incoming call", am BT customer.

Then its not active on your account as the instruction has not been send to the exchange equipment. That can sometimes happen, usually if you have changed your package, but they can go out of sync.
What you need to do is to remove the feature via MyBT, and progress the order. Then wait 48 hours and add it again. That should resent the command to the exchange.

You should find the options for caller ID which you may find already selected, so you will need to deselect it and progress the order.
Then repeat it again, selecting the option.
