New BT Advance Digital handset today, set up, able to make calls in and out. Testing with my mobile: calling into home line my details , saved into contacts, show correctly. Calling from new home phone handset out to my mobile, it shows as No Caller ID - when answered the call itself is fine.
The home number is in my mobile’s contacts, as before. On the home handset, in the contacts list, the home number is listed at the top against what I take to be a figure of a person. I tried manually adding the number into the list with the name ‘Home’ - it listed it, but an outward call still shows No Caller ID
Is there a simple fix that I am missing ?
Log onto MyBT > Your Products & check the DV options for Permanent Withhold Number.
