Phone call saying they were BT

Just had a weird phone call caller said they were from BT saying that we had some unexpected things been happening on the internet from your home! Also how many people in your house use the internet didn't say anything after that I put the phone down just made me feel very uncomfortable

BT will never cold call contact you regarding how your Internet is working. It is obviously a scam call. If anyone does this just hang up.

Better still, if you don't recognise the number, don't answer the call.

I can see that you've already had some great advice above, and I'd agree that if any call makes you feel uncomfortable, then hanging up is always the best option.
