Leanne.
Many thanks. I greatly appreciate that. I have replied.
That is appalling including the letter without a date (I date stamp letters received too - if people on this forum think no one does, of course we do. It is very common and a very wise move). I also had BT closing a complaint last year - landline not working. Every Friday they closed it for 4 weeks and every Friday I reported the same thing - line not working. To be in a system where people lie to you is just awful. Have we moved to a culture where it os kay to lie? The fault was never fixed until 4 weeks after that. I suppose they were saying it was handled each Friday to get some kind of internal credit. Quite a few other people's numbers were affected. I had then two separate landline numbers and this was the least used one so it was not such a big deal for me. The only time they did another response was 4 weeks in when I got a text message to my mobile for the first time, saying the landline was back working. No compensation came. I then switched providers a few months later. I took up to 5Gbps download speed with Community Fibre (very very very fast ) with £6 a month landline I ported my long standing number to with Voipfone).
