How come the start of the number it called is the same as mine though? It’s weird. Literally the first 7 numbers
That is because the scammers think it is more likely people will answer a call from an exchange they recognise than something random. They change the digits to match the circumstances.
Used to happen to me a lot until I installed a call blocker, these are mostly pretty good at squashing the nonsense.
