Why on earth are BT forcing people to this inferior service called Digital Voice??
I refuse and will not be forced onto this. I want to keep my copper phone line!
I will move away from BT if they force me to loose such an essential and reliable service.
It seems you don't want people to call family, utility services and emergency services during times when it's needed the most.
You can get a back-up battery device for a couple of quid so it'll still work during an emergency
You are aware that any provider is being forced to move you to the service eventually right?

I rather think all the Telcos (not just BT) will be unlikely to maintain the copper PSTN just for you.
