Removal of bt cables

Go to solution

hello. I am going around in circles.

I tried calling bt open reach option 1. Was told I needed to use live chat to request removal of bt cables from outside. The main one from the pole has pulled our sophets and letting rain in which has started to cause damp in front bedroom right underneath.

I tried live chat. Said get with me with in 5 mins. I waited an hour. Tried again another hour. Rang back same number to be told to email them. They said I would find their email on this site. I can't for the life of me find the email?

We are with virgin broadband and phone. Have been for 20 years. So no need for bt wires and cables.

Any advice please?

Many thanks

@Darlyd

This is a BT Retail Customer Forum, and has no connection with Openreach.

Thanks

Thank you. Form isn't going anywhere as I am not a customer. And don't have a telephone number or customer number.

as the cabling is property of openreach and No Bt Retail there is nothing this BT retail community forum can do to help you.  you need to contact openreach

You should be able to report it to Openreach as a safety issue, if its likely to fall down and injure someone.
