Unsolicited changeover to DV

So much for BT being a communication company 

out of the blue last week I received a new BT hub, so I installed it 

today handsets showing line error with no dial tone

so plugged a handset into the new router phone port and all now ok

Would Have been nice to have received some communication from BT warning / advising / instructions. of need to make the change
