Using an external call blocker

Go to solution

Hi

We have an external call blocker unit attached to our landline, can we connect the phone to the hub using this or do we have to buy a new phone with Trucall?  We currently have this connected to the socket, then the base unit for our set of three cordless phones is attached to that.

Tried to call BT but just keep getting cut off so hope someone can assist.

Thanks

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't but I suspect you'll get more joy out of TrueCall than BT.

@MorganaNK

That should work just fine if its connected to the phone socket on the back of the Smart Hub 2, once you are on BT Digital Voice.

Hi

I have the same issue but still not getting the unit to work.. The handset is a standard non BT one which I have plugged into the Truecall unit and this has been plugged into the back of the BT Smart HUB 2 , is this what you did?

Thanks

Mine isn’t a Truecall unit, but I plugged the call blocker into the hub and then plugged the phone into the call blocker.
