Call this afternoon went to voicemail.
On the handset, I pressed the calls button and Yes, my own number was displayed.
Checked my calls log on the website and my own number was logged as an incoming call.
Thanks for confirming that @5progface.
When you actually call 1571 to listen to your voicemail, does this give the actual number that called?
Also if possible, have you had the chance to try connecting a different phone to see if the same issue occurs with this?
Peter
@5progface I have Digital Voice myself and gave this a test, and it's not something I encountered.
When leaving voicemail, the missed call history was always showing the number of the caller.
If you get back in touch with our team they'll be able to check on how everything is configured at our end, but we can't rule out it being linked with the handset too.

Received a call from a family member this afternoon.
The correct telephone number was shown on bt handset and in my online calls log.
I am now waiting for the next call to be forwarded to voicemail and check again.
No , it not traced , arguably its traceable, but that a pointless endeavour, the IP address may be logged , but it’s a spam call , hence BT indicating it as a probable nuisance call …..BT do intercept huge quantities of these calls and continually act against them , but these scammers are not stupid people , and often operate in places where law enforcement don’t regard this as a serious matter, enabling the scammers to operate pretty much unhindered.
Thanks for the swift reply.
On investigation, I found that the call was actually from Parcelforce.
The call went to voice mail and was logged at 0855 according to the voicemail message.
So I wonder how it is that the handset shows my number and is annotated as nuisance?
Same thing happened last time I was expecting a Parcelforce delivery.
