Will I be charged if I don’t send back my original bt digital voice phone. I have been sent a replacement as my original stopped working when lifted out of cradle, I now have found the cause, batteries have died after 1 month and I could use the phone in an other room or will I be charged for not returning it.

Just for clarification, are you saying the phone's batteries went flat after it was out of it's charging base, or cradle as you call it, for a month?
I would have thought that BT would have included a return bag if they wanted it back.
Just to clarify, we keep the phone in the charger, when you pick up a call from the base the phone dies, we have had the phone for 1 month and now have a replacement as bt could not resolve the issue, on receiving the new phone we swapped the batteries and found out that there was nothing wrong with the phone it’s self it was the rechargeable batteries , I would have thought they would have lasted longer, I can buy some new batteries and have a second phone but will bt charge me if I do not return, I cannot find out if they will charge me, how much this will be,
Hi @Newbys1 I would use it and wait for a chase or return bag before even thinking about returning it.
It could be a faulty charging circuit & not the batteries but anyway, there's a definite fault somewhere so as @VeteranISPUser says, keep the phone until such time as BT contact you, if they ever do.
"Just to clarify, are you suggesting that the phone's batteries drained completely after being removed from its charging base, or cradle as you referred to it, for a month? I would have expected BT to provide a return bag if they wanted it returned."
