Hi,
I’m having difficulty switching broaband providers because all of them seem to use the Openreach Postcode database which in our case has the wrong address listed. I believe this error occurred some years ago when BT was our phone line and broadband supplier. We have retained the phone number from that time but are not currently customers of BT. I’m seeking advice how to get the database corrected. I tried once before when I was BT customer but to no avail. Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

You need to go to your current ISP and ask them to raise an ORDI with openreach to correct your records. Only your ISP can do this
