recently swapped to bt digital voice,,start date 31 1.2022....nothing worked first 3 days,,,,on 4th feb the broadband works ,,happy with the speed ,,but the hub alexa phone provided by bt nor a older phone plugged into the green phone hub socket ....as well as the phone number my parents have had 50 yrs i asked to keep it wasnt kept,,noone knows why.its now the 9 th feb...still no phone calls in or out or dial tone...spent hours on the phone ,,any ideas what i shd do it just keeps going round in circles passing me to difnt people,,,like many old people my parents are 80,85 the house phone is their lifeline,,their not too good on mobiles,,,thks
do you have FTTP - fibre to your home or FTTC fibre to cabinet and then existing copper to your home?
if you go to hub manager 192.168.1.254 into address bar can you see phone number greyed out or blue?
they have FTTC fibre to cabinet and then existing copper to the home,,ive looked at the hub manager and cant see a phone number anywhere....i was supposed to be getting a phone call from bt between 2 and 4 pm today who was gona try resolve the problem ,but nobody rang .
