i have just got a digital home phone and i am wondering about the rules for charging the phone has the charger to be connected to the stand at all times or not can someone advise me
I have a pair of Digital Voice phones. One stand has the charger connected and one does not.
I swop the phones over every 12 hours (roughly) so that they spend half the time on charge (and it saves running two chargers). It also helps extend the battery life as they discharge half the time.
It is good NOT to keep them on charge the whole time.

I have the charger for mine connected to a smart plug. I can switch it on and off as and when I like using the app on my mobile phone but I rarely have to use it as I have programmed a schedule into the smart plug.
The digital phone has to be placed into the phone charger/stand in order to charge. The phone can safely be left on the charger/stand even after the phone indicates that it has a full charge. The phones are designed to only take a charge when required and can not be over charged.
