Hi @shakey1981
When DV migration takes place, your analogue phone line will go dead (no dialling tone) and at that point unplug your phone from the wall socket and plug it into the telephone socket at the back of the router.

@Ali_A just found out today that they need to come out to fit a battery backup ilook like i will mow have to arange an booking i really wish i had moved my master socet closer to my devices when i had VDSL installed
Thanks for keeping us updated with this @shakey1981
It may be worth asking Customer Service to arrange a socket move at the same time.

The battery back up device mentioned in the email and letter is a hybrid phone, which can be used as normal until a power cut or broadband outage when it uses the mobile phone system.
This is what was supplied to me.
anyone got any pictures of what thia battery backup looks like ?
As mentioned above I was supplied with a phone.
thank you @Aljaha

could one of the mods look into this for me as your oen link state you can set this up yourself
Same here. Despite BT promising no more letters, emails and phone calls re' digital voice, they bombard me with them regularly. BT also need to URGENTLY reinstate their email contact service. The elderly, differently abled and very deaf need email contact. chat is hopeless.
@shakey1981 I am going to send you a private message to get some information to see if we can help with your Digital voice going live.

That is simply a DV adapter, a portable phone socket.
