My mother is very hard of hearing and I got a set of four BT 4600 cordless phones. They're great and a good bit louder than her previous landlines. The info said that they were hearing aid compatible but all it says is that it is compatible with an inductive coupler. Does this coupler automatically pair with the hearing aids? As it stands my mother says she can't hear any signal through them. The BT 4600 cordless phone dont have bluetooth pairing from what I can tell so any advice would be most welcome!
Many thanks,
Cian
I think you'll need to return the 4600 & buy a set that supports a direct bluetooth connection. Best ask the hearing aid manufacturer if there are specific certified devices. I don't think any BT phones have bluetooth.
Hi @cian77 My Gigaset S700H Pro handsets connect directly to my Phonak hearing aids. I simply tap my ear to answer the phone and talk. Good distance as well, I can be in the next room and take the call.
