Hi all
I've just moved house and have a new broadband/phone setup with BT SH2 and 2 advanced digital voice handsets. I've set one handset up, and am trying to figure out how to adjust the speech volume, which is a bit quiet for my ageing ear! Is this possible? Also, is there a choice of ringtones, and if so, where?
Thanks in advance
Heather
Solved! Go to Solution.
You need to go to setting on the DV handset scroll through the options and you can make the changes you need
Thanks - I did finally find the ringtone options! I still haven't managed to find a volume control though - just 'standard' and 'treble' etc under the settings. Maybe looking in the wrong place?
Hello.
See page 16 of the manual here which should answer your question:

That link goes to the options the OP has already located. I can't find any option to adjust the caller's voice volume and conclude that there isn't one.
It says:
Changing the call volume
When you’re on a call, use the Vol.+
and Vol.- buttons to adjust the volume
in the earpiece, or speaker if using
hands-free.
Amplify
If you need an extra volume boost,
keep pressing the Vol. + button until
Amplify appears. Amplify will switch
off again once you’ve finished.
Works for me 😀

Thanks for all your help. I finally found the volume adjust control. It was very difficult for an older person to see, hence my silly question! I caught it by peering for ages at the handset and finally found it on the central dial! Simples ... Doh!
