ASUS DSL-AC88U AC3100 Modem/router setup

I'm looking to get a 3rd party modem router combo and replace our bt hub I was wondering if the ASUS DSL-AC88U AC3100 Wi-Fi Gigabit Modem Router would be compatible with our bt package and how i would go about setting it up. I've attached a picture of the master socket below and the package we have is fibre with bt halo 2. Thanks in advance

Yes you could use that device.

Setup VDSL, assuming it not a full fibre connection.

PPPoE 

username of bthomehub@btbroadband.com

Password BT

I dont have it yet but where do i go to enter that just the 192 address and then set it up in the master socket/ pc with ethernet the same way the hub is currently
