Access to internet in care home

Go to solution

Hi all,

My dad has moved to a care home and I am trying to get him access to BT Sports.  I have been able to connect to the home’s wi-fi but despite this I keep getting a message saying no access to internet so I can’t access the BT app.  Is this because the home’s router is not recognising the TV device? I have tried googling and saw something about a MAC number but I don’t understand what I need to do. Can anyone advise what I would need to do to get internet access. The staff at the home don’t know how to help.

if you use your mobile phone can you connect to home's wifi and access the internet?  if not then you need to speak to someone in the home to allow you internet access
