Allocating dedicated channels

I have a number of devices for smart home that lose connection to my WiFi periodically.  I’m told by the provider that I need to allocate a separate channel on  2.4Mhz that only has these devices on it.  Apparently by not having the smart home devices on the same channel as other devices eg iPads etc, will stop the connection dropping off that I  suffer from.

will this work and ,if so, how do I do it please ?

It's total nonsense and can't be done in any case.

You could set up a different wireless network for those devices - but only if you buy a separate wireless access point, fix its 2.4GHz "broadcast" channel, (eg ch 6), and then fix the 2.4GHz channel on your Hub to something else, (eg 1 or 11).

Having said that it, as @licquorice has already said, it is almost certainly pointless.
