Setup is Smart Hub 2 > Netgear Switch> Pair of BT Mini Connectors (V2) > BT TV Box
The issue I have is that occasionally I’m losing the Ethernet link between the Hub and the switch - no link lights on the switch port to the hub. And as a consequence no IP/Broadband connection to the TV box.
If I unplug the cable on the switch port going to the hub, and plug it back in again, the link is restored - Link lights flashing and TV box working.
It can stay working fine for hours ( days?). But not sure why this is happening. Have swapped out the switch, but it’s still the same. Was wondering if there might be an issue with the Hub not being directly connected to the Mini Connectors. If so why would that be?
Any thoughts would be most welcome. Thank-you

I'm not sure why that's happening either. Hopefully, someone else from the community have experienced this before and will be able to help.
Otherwise, it may be worth speaking with the technical support team so they can get it logged from our side and try to help get it fixed.

Hi Chris. Thanks for your reply. It’s a bit odd. But I’ll monitor it. I just wondered if anyone had this happen to them. Seems not. But anyway, In the near term I’ll be swapping the mini connectors for a permanent cat5 cable so the issue should go away. And it’s not happened for 3 days now in any case. Thanks again for the advice.
