Hi everyone,
I'm moving to a property that doesn't have FTTP as I have now, so I'm looking for a good modem or modem/router combo that works with BT. At the moment I'm using an ASUS RT-AC86U connected to the GPON modem. I would like to keep my existing router since it handles everything I throw at it and the range is really good. Should I just go for a separate modem or use an ASUS DSL series router, although I've heard some of them have issues with theVDSL.

Just get an Huawei HG612 from eBay. Don't pay extra for an unlocked one, it's not necessary and is trivial to unlock anyway.

Re: Best Modem/Router Combo for FTTC
Just use eBay and get something like hg612 and use your existing router
When you move are you moving to digital voice for landline as that requires use of sh2

Re: Best Modem/Router Combo for FTTC
I won't use the digital voice, in my current flat I have the SH2 disconnected.

Re: Best Modem/Router Combo for FTTC
As has been mentioned an HG612 with your Asus is a perfect solution.
