Connecting via an External TP-Link router

I am trying to set up my new TP-Link Archer AX6000 on my BT Fibre Network.

From the BT ONT I have plugged the Ethernet cable from it into the 2.5GHz port on the router and I have a CAT 8 cable going from the router to an Anker device. The router has solid red light which indicates No Internet. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Connecting via an External TP-Link router

No idea what a '2.5Ghz port' is. You need to connect the ONT to the WAN port on the TP Link and configure it with the generic  PPPoE credentials of  username bthomehub@btbroadband.com and password BT.
