Fibre 2 broadband

Hello, we have just signed up for Fibre 2 broadband which is still using copper. We originally had Full fibre available but it is just taking forever as work needs to be done and already had a month with no internet in our new home. I am really worried as we just have one phone socket....we tried to fit our old hub in but it wouldn't fit at all? Does this look right to you? Our new hub will be self install and I am concerned we will have even more delays 😞 I don't think the previous tenant had internet?

unless your master socket looks like 7 with 2 outlets then you are going to need to use a filter to connect your hub

Thanks for your speedy reply!! It is a master socket 5C but only has the phone socket, we don't have a landline. What filter do you recommend please?

No filter needed, just an RJ11 to BT adapter.

If I had FTTC and one of these boxes with a separate RJ11 socket in it, could I not get an adapter the opposite of the above one, to take my BB via an existing unused phone extension line into the room where I like the SH2 to be.
This extension line already exists at the master socket but is not used any more as it once fed a phone in the Dining room where a phone was plugged in. There are plenty such adapters available containing a short fly lead.
