Fibre Connection

BT via open reach moved me to full fibre Monday 21st , engineer was not vet talkative but left system working with phone line plugged into Hub , everything appeared to work until Wednesday 23rd when everything stopped. I am now running on Hybrid connection via Halo . Doing some reading and the Open reach modem should connect with an ethernet cable with red ends mine has yellow ends is this the cause of the problem ,

As mentioned, provided the cable is a standard it should be OK.  I tested mine when I received it and it was nothing special, except "Red" Ends

Check you Smart Hub,  if the light on the front is not blue there is a connection issue

Check the ONT device that the cable from the smart hub connects to.  you should have green lights on the top.

Of course green is good, red is a fault.

The link below explains the light for the different devices the OR have installed
